If you are beginner. That is if this is your first attempt and you find it hard to digest above books you can read these NCERTs

  6. Tamil Nadu Board Books for History

If you don’t want to read Sanjiv Verma you can find Mrinal’s handouts helpful.

For environment and ecology-

Read last 4 chapters of Biology, build the concepts and do the reverse learning that would be more helpful. It means give many mocks, and for any question try to find out answers from books and make your own notes. If you don’t want to do that you can read any standard book that you like. Also you have to prepare current affair too.

For General Science and science and technology-

chances of questions coming from any static book are less than the current events. You can make notes from newspaper, refer current affairs magazine or you can follow the same reverse learning approach of giving mocks and making notes out of that.

For current events of national and international importance –

Make notes from newspaper or follow any current affairs magazine. Also read newspaper everyday even if you are referring magazines.
